The villa is used as a "Bodenseekurhaus" and already offers 35 beds for guests at that time.
The Allianz insurance company discovers the property and uses it as a recreation home for its employees for almost 70 years.
Allianz Versicherung is withdrawing from the vacation business.
Robert Manhardt takes over the property as a convincing investor and developer in order to revive the historic "spirit" and life of the old building.
The villa, which is over 100 years old, is rechristened the Sonnenhof in the midst of wonderful nature and the Lake Constance Hotel Sonnenhof is opened.
In addition to the hotel building, the extensive, park-like grounds also include the "Gästehaus am Sonnenhof", the "Dependance" and various buildings for the use of services, health and care.
